Newsletter Vol.6

Hallo

Wow what a month! We sure hope you’ve had a great September. Our team has been travelling all over. Fabio Traversa, our CTO and Co-Founder, was married earlier this month in Italy, joined by a few team members. Our CEO John Beane presented at multiple conferences across the US, and our CIO Larry Heminger has been attending our latest accelerator program in Colorado.

MemComputing Sightings

AFLR Catalyst Space Accelerator

One small step for MemComputing, one GIANT leap for mankind! MemComputing enters the Space-Age! We were selected as one of eight startups nationwide to join the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Catalyst Space Accelerator, focused on space-based Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR). This program provides us with the unique opportunity to work with government and commercial leaders with access to an extensive collaborative ecosystem. We believe the complex computations faced by space-based ISR programs are perfectly suited to benefit from the acceleration that our MemCPU™ technology provides.

Energy and Clean Technology Forum

Earlier this month, we were fortunate enough to present at the 2019 Energy & Clean Technology Forum at Rice University. The conference was a tremendous hit- we made connections with industry leaders and decision makers, as well as venture capitalists. We are very excited to explore the applications of MemComputing in the Oil/Gas & Energy sectors. BTW- keep your eye out for a BIG announcement related to this industry in early October!

SDVG Summit

The San Diego Venture Group selected MemComputing as one of San Diego’s “Coolest Companies” earlier this year. This month, we had the opportunity to speak at their Annual Venture Summit, as well as exhibit our technology to over 100 venture capitalists from all over California. It was a great way to connect with new and familiar faces, and see how promising the start-up community really is here in San Diego.
