Sr. FPGA Engineer

Sai Teja Bodanki

Sai Teja Bodanki is an FPGA Engineer at MemComputing with 9 years of experience building FPGA-based computing systems, with a focus on SmartNICs and acceleration for deep learning and latency-sensitive workloads. His work spans architecture, RTL design, and verification in SystemVerilog and VHDL, with hands-on experience across Intel and Xilinx platforms, including AWS EC2 F1 and Xilinx Versal.

Before joining MemComputing, Sai led FPGA and shell development for high-throughput networking and storage solutions, integrating technologies such as NVMe and RDMA to optimize performance for 400G-class interfaces. He has architected modular, multi-vendor FPGA shells integrating PCIe Gen5 x16, DDR4, and 400GbE, and is especially strong in timing-driven implementation and closure, bring-up, host integration, and building practical test automation.Sai holds an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Portland State University and has also supported FPGA and SystemVerilog coursework as a graduate teaching assistant. At MemComputing, he brings an end-to-end mindset and a strong execution cadence bridging RTL, integration, and validation to deliver robust, high-performance FPGA systems.
